PRESS RELEASE
For Immediate Release
Jakarta, May 25, 2024 — PT Ingria Pratama Capitalindo Tbk ("Ingria"), a leading developer of subsidized and commercial residential properties in Indonesia, has partnered with the Confederation of Indonesian Workers Union (KSPSI) to make it easier for workers to acquire quality homes. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was carried out by the Director of PT Ingria Pratama Capitalindo Tbk, Irwansyah Hakim Noor, and the Chairman of KSPSI, M. Jumhur Hidayat, on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Foo Foo Restaurant, Rasuna Said, South Jakarta.
Ingria's Corporate Secretary, Eka Maolana, stated that this signing demonstrates Ingria's commitment to providing quality and affordable homes for workers in Indonesia. "As a developer of subsidized residential properties, Ingria wants to play a strategic role in meeting the housing needs of workers. We are collaborating with KSPSI to find a joint solution so that workers can easily own quality, livable, and affordable homes," Eka said on Saturday, May 25, 2024.
Eka explained that the MoU between Ingria and KSPSI is the first step toward a more technical collaboration. One of the implementations of this MoU is that Ingria will provide various conveniences for workers to obtain subsidized homes. "For example, through low down payments, affordable selling prices, or the provision of collective housing clusters for workers who are members of KSPSI," added Eka.
Eka also commented on the high "backlog" of housing in Indonesia, which reached 12.71 million units in 2023. Therefore, Ingria strives to make a real contribution to meeting the housing needs of workers. One way to do this is by partnering with KSPSI to provide quality and affordable housing. "Ingria is focused on being a developer of subsidized housing to meet the growing demand for housing every year. We have been consistent in doing this since the company was established in 2013 until now," Eka continued.
Currently, Ingria has at least 10 residential and apartment projects spread across various locations in Indonesia, including Bandung, Sumedang, Bekasi, Karawang, and others. One of the major projects currently being developed is the Gria Mahakam City (GMC) housing complex in Lok Bahu, Samarinda, with a total land area of 252,630 m². GMC is offered at very affordable prices without compromising on building quality, prioritizing comfort and safety for its residents.
In providing subsidized housing, Ingria always emphasizes both quality and affordability. "The housing developed by Ingria must meet two main principles, which are quality and affordability. This is the solution we offer to the public amid the many choices between quality and price," added Eka.
Eka also emphasized that meticulous property development, innovative designs, and a focus on the needs of the community are the hallmarks of every Ingria project. Currently, Ingria's housing projects are spread across various locations such as Tangerang, Bekasi, Sumedang, Karawang, Bandung, and Samarinda. Some of these projects include Bukit Esma Cicalengka, Gria Panorama Cimanggung, and The Valley Esma in Bandung and surrounding areas; Griya Panorama Sumedang in Sumedang; Griya Indah Cibarusah in Bekasi; Puri Artha Kencana Housing and Puri Epicentrum Housing in Karawang; and Gria Mahakam City in Samarinda. For apartment projects, Ingria is developing the Epicentrum Sepatan Apartment in South Tangerang City.
