PT Ingria Pratama Capitalindo Tbk (GRIA), a renowned property developer, has officially appointed Dr. (H.C.) H. Mochamad Ridwan Kamil, S.T., M.U.D as an independent commissioner of the company. This appointment was approved by the shareholders during the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) 2024 held on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Kadena Glamping Dive Resort, Anyer, Banten.
The Corporate Secretary, Eka Maolana, stated that the appointment of Ridwan Kamil as Independent Commissioner of Ingria is in accordance with the Company’s Articles of Association and the Financial Services Authority Regulation No. 33/POJK.04/2014 concerning the Board of Directors and the Board of Commissioners of Issuers or Public Companies. The process of appointing, dismissing, and/or replacing members of the Board of Commissioners is carried out with the approval of the general meeting of shareholders.
Eka also mentioned that with Ridwan Kamil’s experience as an architect, he is the ideal candidate to fill the position of Independent Commissioner at Ingria. "He has experience as a qualified and artistic architect. Ingria is honored to have him on board, as he will provide valuable input to improve the quality of construction in Ingria's housing projects throughout Indonesia," Eka said.
As a developer of subsidized and commercial housing, Ingria has always focused on developing green housing concepts with facilities that enhance the productivity of its residents. These facilities include healthy water and sanitation channels, green open spaces (RTH), pedestrian-friendly walkways, child-friendly public spaces, and other public facilities that emphasize green and sustainable living concepts.
"Ridwan Kamil's presence as Independent Commissioner at Ingria will certainly provide a positive contribution and improve the quality of development across all Ingria housing projects, in line with Ingria's vision of providing quality and affordable homes for the community," Eka added.
In the 2023 fiscal year financial report, Ingria recorded total assets of IDR 475.9 billion and total liabilities of IDR 91.5 billion. The company also posted a revenue of IDR 47.9 billion in 2023, a 65.7% increase compared to IDR 28.9 billion in 2022.
During the AGMS, shareholders approved the company’s financial statements, including the report on the realization of the funds from the initial public offering. For the business target in 2024, Ingria has prepared several expansions, including the development of the Gria Grand City housing project in Pantai Hurip, Babelan, Bekasi Regency. The launch of Gria Grand City is scheduled for August 2024, with the construction of the marketing office and show houses.
In the initial phase, a total of 60 hectares of land will be developed for the Gria Grand City housing project from the total 100 hectares, with a target of 10,000 subsidized housing units. "This location is very attractive to workers in the Marunda Industrial Area - Tanjung Priok and its surroundings, as it is only about 12 km - 15 km away, roughly the same distance as from Bekasi Timur to Cawang," said Eka.
Access to Gria Grand City is also facilitated by the toll road, which makes it easier for workers to commute. Currently, access to Kalihurip is available through the Kalihurip Utama Toll Gate, which has 14 main lanes and 10 satellite lanes. "Additionally, a planned northern coast road (pantura) will be located in front of the Gria Grand City project. This makes Gria Grand City the closest subsidized housing location from Jakarta via the Cikampek toll road," Eka explained.
The development of Gria Grand City will add to the list of housing projects that Ingria has worked on throughout Indonesia. Previously, Ingria has developed 10 housing and apartment projects in Bandung, Sumedang, Bekasi, Karawang, and other locations across Indonesia.
Ingria is also developing the Gria Mahakam City (GMC) residential area in Lok Bahu, Samarinda. GMC offers very affordable prices while still prioritizing the quality of construction, providing a comfortable and safe living environment for its residents. In the provision of subsidized housing, Ingria always emphasizes both quality and affordability.
“Housing developed by Ingria must be based on these two principles, quality and affordability. This is the solution Ingria offers to the public amid the many choices between quality and price,” Eka added. Therefore, careful property development, innovative design, and focus on the community's needs have become the hallmark of every Ingria project.
Thank you.
